| Dottie Clark
Having worked artistically as an Interior Designer for over thirty years, I always had this thought that I could and should paint. I finally made the time to pursue this dream in 2002.
I grew up in Chicago, left home to attend Purdue University and ended up moving to St. Simons Island shortly after graduation. St. Simons has been my home where I raised my family and pursued a career in Interior Design. It was only after my three daughters left home that I pursued my interest in oil painting. It was love at first brush stroke. Having studied locally under Barbara Mueller, Dr. Ken Wallin and Martha Carpenter, I also have had the opportunity to take workshops in France, Italy and Ireland.I draw my inspirations from the landscapes of the Golden Isles, my family and my travels.
To paint is to live in the moment.

Sherry Egger
Sherry Little Egger originally studied
commercial art at Le Millet in Baltimore, Maryland and later worked
as a graphic artist in Atlanta, Georgia. Her original introduction
to the creation of fine art came from noted artists Addison and Jim
Palmer. Currently, she is privileged to study with prominent artist
Jeanne Nelson Szabo who has helped her expand her mediums to pastel
and acrylic.
Being able to achieve rich, luscious color and great detail makes
colored pencil the medium of choice for Sherry. Her art encourages
the viewer to take a closer look at what sometimes may appear to be
a rather unglamorous subject, and then see the incredible beauty
hidden in it's details. Even the most mundane object may offer a
multitude of fascinating details. She also greatly enjoys creating
home portraits and considers pet portraits her specialty.
She is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, Glynn Art
Association, Georgia Coastal Artists Guild, and Jekyll Art
Association and teaches drawing at Glynn Art.
