The Ana Bel Lee Children’s Art Program

In 2000 Anna Belle Washington decided to donate a painting to be raffled in order to promote a Children's Art Program. This raffle would coincide with the Spring and Summer Art shows that the Georgia Coastal Artists Guild plans each year. Unfortunately Anna Belle passed away before the children's program began. In memory of Anna Belle, at each show since, the Georgia Coastal Artists members have donated paintings and combined gift baskets with all kinds of goodies ranging from small art work to note cards, prints, gourmet coffees and teas to be raffled in order to continue the program envisioned by Anna Belle. Her children's program has helped fund classes, buy art supplies and pay teachers for children's art programs.
